Discourse at Catuma

Thus I have heard. On one occasion the Bhagava was staying at Catuma in the Emblic-myrobalan Wood. At that time five hundred monks, led by Sariputta and Moggallana, arrived at Catuma to see Bhagava. And then the visiting monks while returning the greetings of the resident monks and arranging accommodation and setting their bowls and robes in order, created noise and uproar. The the Bhagava spoke to the Venerable Ananda “Ananda, what are these great and loud noises which sound like fishermen scrambling for fish?”
