(1) Kāyo –– The Body
1. “Monks, I will tell the uncompounded and the path to the uncompounded, listen carefully.
2. “Monks, what is the uncompounded? Monks, that destruction of greed, hate and delusion is called the uncompounded.
3. “Monks, what is the path to the uncompounded? Monks, mindfulness in relation to the body is the path to the uncompounded.
4. “Monks I have told you the uncompounded and the path to the uncompounded.
5. “Monks, I have done what should be done by the Teacher, out of compassion and love for his disciples.
6. “Monks, there are roots of trees, there are empty houses, concentrate, do not be negligent and repent later. This is our advice to you.”

(2) Samatho –– Calm
1. “Monks, I will tell the uncompounded and the path to the uncompounded, listen carefully.
2. “Monks, what is the uncompounded? Monks, that destruction of greed, hate and delusion is called the uncompounded.
3. “Monks, what is the path to the uncompounded? Monks, calm and insight is the path to the uncompounded.
4. “Monks I have told you the uncompounded and the path to the uncompounded.
5. “Monks, I have done what should be done by the Teacher, out of compassion and love for his disciples.
6. “Monks, there are roots of trees, there are empty houses, concentrate, do not be negligent and repent later. This is our advice to you.”

1. “Monks, I will tell the uncompounded and the path to the uncompounded, listen carefully.
2. “Monks, what is the uncompounded? Monks, that destruction of greed, hate and delusion is called the uncompounded.
3. “Monks, what is the path to the uncompounded? Monks, concentration accompanied by reasoning and investigation, a little concentration unaccompanied by reasoning and investigation is the path to the uncompounded.
4. “Monks I have told you the uncompounded and the path to the uncompounded.
5. “Monks, I have done what should be done by the Teacher, out of compassion and love for his disciples.
6. “Monks, there are roots of trees, there are empty houses, concentrate, do not be negligent and repent later. This is our advice to you.”

(4) Suññatā –– Emptiness
1. “Monks, I will tell the uncompounded and the path to the uncompounded, listen carefully.
2. “Monks, what is the uncompounded? Monks, that destruction of greed, hate and delusion is called the uncompounded.
3. “Monks, what is the path to the uncompounded? Monks, concentrating on emptiness, concentrating without a sign and concentrating without an aim, is the path to the uncompounded.
4. “Monks I have told you the uncompounded and the path to the uncompounded.
5. “Monks, I have done what should be done by the Teacher, out of compassion and love for his disciples.
6. “Monks, there are roots of trees, there are empty houses, concentrate, do not be negligent and repent later. This is our advice to you.”

(5) Satipaṭṭhāna –– Establishment of Mindfulness
1. “Monks, I will tell the uncompounded and the path to the uncompounded, listen carefully.
2. “Monks, what is the uncompounded? Monks, that destruction of greed, hate and delusion is called the uncompounded.
3. “Monks, what is the path to the uncompounded? Monks, the fourfold establishment of mindfulness is the path to the uncompounded.
4. “Monks I have told you the uncompounded and the path to the uncompounded.
5. “Monks, I have done what should be done by the Teacher, out of compassion and love for his disciples.
6. “Monks, there are roots of trees, there are empty houses, concentrate, do not be negligent and repent later. This is our advice to you.”

(6) Sammappadhana –– The Fourfold Endeavor
1. “Monks, I will tell the uncompounded and the path to the uncompounded, listen carefully.
2. “Monks, what is the uncompounded? Monks, that destruction of greed, hate and delusion is called the uncompounded.
3. “Monks, what is the path to the uncompounded? Monks, the fourfold endeavor is the path to the uncompounded.
4. “Monks I have told you the uncompounded and the path to the uncompounded.
5. “Monks, I have done what should be done by the Teacher, out of compassion and love for his disciples.
6. “Monks, there are roots of trees, there are empty houses, concentrate, do not be negligent and repent later. This is our advice to you.”

(7) Iddhipādā –– The Psychic Powers
1. “Monks, I will tell the uncompounded and the path to the uncompounded, listen carefully.
2. “Monks, what is the uncompounded? Monks, that destruction of greed, hate and delusion is called the uncompounded.
3. “Monks, what is the path to the uncompounded? Monks, the fourfold psychic power is the path to the uncompounded.
4. “Monks I have told you the uncompounded and the path to the uncompounded.
5. “Monks, I have done what should be done by the Teacher, out of compassion and love for his disciples.
6. “Monks, there are roots of trees, there are empty houses, concentrate, do not be negligent and repent later. This is our advice to you.”

(8) Indriya –– The Five Mental Faculties
1. “Monks, I will tell the uncompounded and the path to the uncompounded, listen carefully.
2. “Monks, what is the uncompounded? Monks, that destruction of greed, hate and delusion is called the uncompounded.
3. “Monks, what is the path to the uncompounded? Monks, developing the five mental faculties, is the path to the uncompounded.
4. “Monks I have told you the uncompounded and the path to the uncompounded.
5. “Monks, I have done what should be done by the Teacher, out of compassion and love for his disciples.
6. “Monks, there are roots of trees, there are empty houses, concentrate, do not be negligent and repent later. This is our advice to you.”

(9) Bala –– The Five Powers
1. “Monks, I will tell the uncompounded and the path to the uncompounded, listen carefully.
2. “Monks, what is the uncompounded? Monks, that destruction of greed, hate and delusion is called the uncompounded.
3. “Monks, what is the path to the uncompounded? Monks, the fivefold powers is the path to the uncompounded.
4. “Monks I have told you the uncompounded and the path to the uncompounded.
5. “Monks, I have done what should be done by the Teacher, out of compassion and love for his disciples.
6. “Monks, there are roots of trees, there are empty houses, concentrate, do not be negligent and repent later. This is our advice to you.”

(10) Bojjhanga –– Enlightenment Factors

2. “Monks, what is the uncompounded? Monks, that destruction of greed, hate and delusion is called the uncompounded.
3. “Monks, what is the path to the uncompounded? Monks, the enlightenment factors are the path to the uncompounded.
4. “Monks I have told you the uncompounded and the path to the uncompounded.
5. “Monks, I have done what should be done by the Teacher, out of compassion and love for his disciples.
6. “Monks, there are roots of trees, there are empty houses, concentrate, do not be negligent and repent later. This is our advice to you.”

(11) Maggena –– The Path
1. “Monks, I will tell the uncompounded and the path to the uncompounded, listen carefully.
2. “Monks, what is the uncompounded? Monks, that destruction of greed, hate and delusion is called the uncompounded.
3. “Monks, what is the path to the uncompounded? Monks, the Noble Eightfold Path is the path to the uncompounded.
4. “Monks I have told you the uncompounded and the path to the uncompounded.
5. “Monks, I have done what should be done by the Teacher, out of compassion and love for his disciples.
